DR. GENTRY GONZALEZ

Dr. Gentry Gonzalez received his biology degree from Samford University and was then awarded a doctorate degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Mass.

Upon graduating dental school in 1997, Dr. Gentry Gonzalez entered the United States Army. In his first year of duty, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Ft. Benning, GA. He completed his tour of duty at Ft. Bragg, NC in the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne). As the dentist for the 7th SFG (A), Dr. Gonzalez received his parachutist badge and completed the Special Forces Combat Scuba Course in Key West, FL. He also participated in humanitarian missions in Central and South America.

DEBRA SUTTLE

Dental Hygienist

Debra has 31 years of experience in the dental field. She completed the Alabama dental hygiene program from UAB in 1997. She joined Valleydale Dental when the practice opened in 2003. She enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

EMILY RAPE

Dental Assistant

Emily joined the Valleydale Dental team in 2016. She has 3 years of experience as a dental assistant. She received her dental assisting certification from The Career Training Institute. She enjoys spending time with her son and family as well as going to the lake.

ASHLYN ENGLE

Dental Assistant

Ashlyn has 6 years of dental experience. She joined our team in May of 2016. She received her dental assisting certification from the Brookwood Dental Assisting program. She just recently married and enjoys spending time with her family as well as shopping.

MELISSA LEVERETT

Dental Hygienist

Melissa has 19 years of experience as a dental hygienist. She married the “internet guy” in 2001. They added a son to their family in 2014. She enjoys spending time with family, preferably outside, boating, vacationing, especially in the Caribbean.
